Typical lead times are 6-8 weeks.

What if I would like to change my order after it has been placed?
Vital Steel NYC, LLC will begin making your piece shortly after your order is placed. Therefore, in most cases, it is not possible to make changes to your order. However, please contact us if you wish to change your order and we will gladly accommodate your change if fabrication has not begun.
Are your products returnable?
No. Due to the customized nature of our products, all orders are FINAL when placed. All pieces are custom made to order and are, therefore, not cancelable or returnable. Items that have been damaged during shipping may be exchanged for a replacement; provided that you notify us of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF ARRIVAL OF YOUR ORDER. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt as no claims can be made after this time.
Is it possible to order pieces in custom sizes?
We gladly accommodate custom sizes whenever possible. Please call us to discuss your custom needs and give you a quote. We’re also always open to discuss custom designs for specific applications such as grills, gates, banisters, etc.
What can I expect from a hand-finished look?
Our aluminum and steel objects are laser cut, but in some cases will have hinges or feet welded on and are hand polished. Welding seams, striation marks and other tool marks are to be expected. All glass parts are hand-blown so, each individual piece is unique. Color and size variations are to be embraced as part of what makes your piece a hand-crafted item.
How should “UNA” be installed?
UNA will be custom made according to the measurements you provide us and though it's not a complex installation, we recommend it be done by a professional.
How do the freestanding multi-panel partitions stay upright?
Like conventional screens, our freestanding multi-panel partitions like "Andra" only stay upright if the panels are kept in a slight zig-zag formation. When stretched out too far into a straight line the divider will fall over. Because of its weight such a fall could pose a potential danger. So please use caution when setting up the divider and make sure there's no chance your child will mistake the piece for a jungle gym.
